South Superstar Kamal Haasan is currently basking in the success of his latest release ‘Vikram’, which has collected a whopping Rs. 400 crore at the box office. Haasan has left no stone unturned to perfect his role in the actioner as he has undergone tremendous transformation. Recently, the director of the film Lokesh Kanagaraj dropped an unseen BTS video from ‘Vikram’ sets where Kamal is seen doing push-ups. Netizens are praising the actor for doing push-ups at the age of 67.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Lokesh shared a video of the Chachi 420 actor, clad in his casuals, doing push-ups exercise. Alongside the video, the filmmaker wrote, “@ikamalhaasan sir's video as promised.. He did 26..i missed recording the initial two..The eagle has landed #Vikram.” Fans and netizens took to the comments section of the post to shower compliments on the actor. Reacting to the post, one fan said, “Once a Lion Always a Lion.”



However, one netizen took a dig at the superstar and pointed out that it is not exactly a full push-up. He wrote, “But technically this isn't even a full push up right....” After this, many fans of Kamal Haasan came out in their support. One loyal fan voiced his support saying that the actor was actually pumping. The user said, “People who are criticizing this push-ups calling it that this not how it’s done are ignorant. He is pumping, people who regularly exercise can do this for a quick pump that's all. He can’t do a whole proper push-up routine and get tired before the scene.”

Going by this viral behind-the-scenes clip, it is quite evident that Haasan was doing the exercise when the action-loaded climax sequence was being shot where Vikram aka Haasan takes his beast mode to kill Sethupathi's Santhanam and his gang. 

‘Vikram’ which also stars superstars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, was released on June 3, 2022.
